Peter and Helen are rapt that their business is open in Te Aroha. With backgrounds in the rural and equine industry, it is the perfect fit for both them and for the rural service town.
Peter brings with him over 39 years experience in the rural industry, starting out milking cows when he was just 15 years old, eventually owning two dairy farms, a contracting business, a stock feed store in Dargaville and has spent the last four years working for a Straw Warehouse. To say he has an excellent grasp of all aspects of the business is an understatement!
Helen's background has been in the equine industry, working at the famous Te Aroha Racecource for ten years, has been involved in the local pony clubs with her children and owned pleasure hacks for 30 years. Together, they bring an understanding of what the farmer, lifestyle block owner or pet owner need and want from their grain and feed merchants.
Choosing Te Aroha as the place to open their brand new business was easy for Peter and Helen. Helen Lived in Te Aroha for 33 years, with only a short stint away and Peter fell in love with the town on arrival.
